AI Geo Optimizer ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our merchants ("you"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you install or use our app in connection with your Shopify store.

2. Information We Collect

When you install our app, we become able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:

• Product Information: Titles, descriptions, product types, tags, prices, images, image alt text, SEO metadata, SKUs, barcodes, and other product details necessary to analyze AI visibility and generate optimized content.
• Store Information: Basic store details (shop domain, contact email, and plan name) required for app functionality and billing.

We access this information via Shopify's API. We do not store your product data permanently on our servers; it is primarily processed in real-time to generate AI visibility scores and optimization suggestions. Analysis results (scores and detected issues) may be cached temporarily to improve performance.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the core functionality of the app (analyzing product AI visibility, generating product catalog previews, and creating optimization suggestions).
• Process your product data through AI models (Google Gemini) to generate optimized titles, descriptions, SEO metadata, and tags.
• Track your monthly usage count and manage your subscription plan via Shopify Billing.
• Improve the accuracy of our AI visibility scoring algorithm.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. However, to provide our service, we share data with the following third-party service provider:

• Google Gemini (Google AI): We send product titles, descriptions, tags, and metadata to Google's AI API to generate optimized content for your product listings. Google processes this data in accordance with their Google APIs Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

We may also share information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, or to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive.

5. Data Retention

We retain analysis result summaries (AI visibility scores and issue counts) and usage tracking data for the duration of your app installation. Core product data itself is fetched from Shopify on-demand and is not persistently stored in our database.
